Support RELAY FOR LIFE at Jr.'s Last Laugh!
Who: Everyone 21+ or (18+ with a friend 25+)
What: Stand-up comedy club here in Erie, which has hosted many very famous comedians in the past. Our own GE Intern Tim Coan will be the MC for the night as well. Part of the money raised from tickets will go towards Relay For Life. $18 a ticket.

Jrs. Last Laugh Just tell them to call Jrs at 814 461 0911 and reserve their ticket with them. When they reserve the ticket, they should make sure to tell them that they are reserving a ticket for the July 15th GE Relay fundraiser. Otherwise, Relay for Life won't get the money from that ticket.

Lunch With Leaders This Week
What: There are two Lunch with Leaders meetings coming up this week. One is Thursday with James Bunce, a Manager in the Propulsion Engineering department. There is also another on Friday with Jeff Swanson, the Plant manager. Another lunch with leaders meeting is also taking place on Thursday July 22 with Robert Young the International Service Manager. These meetings are limited to 10 people each so sign up fast. They are open discussion format and bring your own lunch. Sign up and think of questions.

The weekend of July 17th, all interested interns are invited to take a trip North! We decided it would be much easier to carpool and drive up there than to charter a bus. So now we need people who are willing to volunteer themselves and their cars to drive other interns up to Toronto/Niagara.
Professional Development Lunch with Leaders Sign Up
The Professional Development Committee is looking for managers to host lunches for their “Lunch with Leaders” series. The series will feature a lunch hour where a group of interns meet with a manager, and learn about their experience with GE. Presque Isle Road Bike Ride
Who: Anyone interested in joining a group of interns to ride road or mountain bikes at Presque Isle
When: Every Tuesday night at 6 PM
What: A group of serious road bikers hosts a weekly ride around Presque Isle. They ride about 8 miles of warm up followed by 5 miles of single file drafting. The warm up is usually around 18 – 20 miles an hour and the fast pace is usually at 25 mph. This ride is repeated a few times a night depending on people’s interest. This group is very non-formal and welcomes new riders with experience. Not everyone in the group does the fast drafting; so don’t be concerned if you cannot make the pace. Please come out if you would like to meet other riders to train with this summer
