Who: All interns
What: Your help is needed with the Hooked on Books summer reading program at the Neighborhood Art House. This program is based on the simple concept that reading aloud to a child and sharing an enthusiasm for books will benefit that child academically and socially. Hooked on Books has been serving children in the Erie community for eighteen years and the results are proven. GE interns have been a mainstay of the summer program and we are again asking for your support.
You can sign up to read online at the website hoberie.org, Under the tab “Become a Reader, select the week(s) and age of the child you prefer. You will receive a confirmation and further information about the program. If you have a question, feel free to contact us directly.

Week 1 June 28 - July 2
Week 2 July 6 – 9 (Monday off for July 4th holiday)
Week 3 July 12 - 16
Week 4 July 19 - 23
Week 5 July 26 - 29 (No Friday reading)
