How many service hours can you get?

In an effort to encourage more interns to participate in community service this summer and to get to know other interns, your community service committee will be holding a World Cup style Intern Service Cup competition this summer. Each building at Mercyhurst is a country and will compete over the course of the summer. Those who are not living at Mercyhurst have been randomly placed on a team.

The team roster and standings will be located here: F:\Share\Intern Service 2010. It will track the hours and standings over the course of the summer. If you do not see your name on this list please email Terri (moc.eg|hceerc.aseret#moc.eg|hceerc.aseret) or Tim (moc.eg|naoc.yhtomit#moc.eg|naoc.yhtomit to get yourself on a team.

RULES: Teams will compete against other teams in their own pool for 5 weeks (until July 16th). One team from each pool will advance to the finals that will take place over the last 2-3 weeks (until August 1st).

To “win,” all the service hours within a team will be totaled. Bonus hours will be given to teams that participate in a wide variety of events and have strong involvement across the team. The team with the most hours will advance.
